Vieille Font, has been lovingly restored to a very high standard offering a perfect base for those looking for privacy, peace and quiet and wonderful rural surroundings. Here you can enjoy the peace and relaxation of a truly away from it all holiday, with al fresco meals under the shade of the terrace overlooking the the vines which border the property. The house is appx. 8 km from Duras and 17km from Ste Foy la Grande. Both these towns have fascinating colourful weekly markets and a number of lively bars and restaurants. This is true rural France, the pace of life is slow, conversation and gastronomy go hand in hand, take your time purchasing local produce on the market and then linger over a relaxing meal in the evening. Visit historic Bergerac on the banks of the picturesque River Dordogne or St. Emilion to savour its renowned red wines.
