Carrouze comprises two thoughtfully and carefully restored detached properties - the 'Farmhouse' and 'Cherry Trees' In addition there is a luxury heated apartment which can be used as additional accommodation with either property during peak season or booked separately at other times of the year. Includes solar heated pool, sauna, hot tub, solarium & exercise equipment.
The Farmhouse sleeps 9/17 + cot, Cherry Trees 4/6, Apartment 6 (+ 3 cots) In summary, the complex sleeps up to 29 + 3 cots Carrouze is set in 4 acres with 360 degree views situated in Armillac in the Lot et Garonne, near the Dordogne border and comprises 2 detached properties and an apartment, each with their own private gardens with un-spoilt views of the surrounding countryside. Bergerac is 30 minutes away and Monbazillac about 20 minutes. Miramont, a small market town with it's weekly Monday morning market and shops, bars and restaurants is a 5 minute drive.
The fenced solar heated salt swimming pool is 'L' shaped - giving privacy for sunbathing when the properties are let separately. It is floodlit at night - perfect for a midnight swim! There is a changing room with hot shower & toilet next to the pool - and a fridge and icebox for keeping cool. For young children there is a 'toddlers pool' with fountain. A full set of pool 'toys & inflatables' are available.
In addition, the owners have provided a sauna, hot tub, sun bed & exercise equipment for the exclusive use of their guests. The owner, an internationally qualified therapist, also offers Aromatherapy, Massage and Beauty treatments upon request. Although each property has it's own, differently aspected garden with own covered terraces for dining al fresco with BBQ's and sun loungers, should occupants of both houses wish to meet, there is a further large garden & an outside covered games area with full size pool table, table tennis, darts, chess, books and other games. The centrally heated farmhouse has two kitchens - one inside and one outside on the covered terrace - perfect for BBQ's and enjoying the views over the countryside.
Full facilities are included - oven, hob, microwave, 2 fridges, fridge, freezer, dishwasher & washing machine (a tumble dryer is available upon request).
The lounge has a sofa bed and is equipped with satellite TV (UK & French) & CD player & leads onto the terrace. The covered terrace has BBQ and seating for 10. Gardens surround this property on all sides, including a further outside eating area with garden sun loungers.

Surrounded by actual cherry trees, the cottage has it's own south facing private terrace with private BBQ, fountain & garden furniture overlooking the countryside. There are 2 bedrooms (one with a double, the other twin) each with ensuite shower / WC's. There is space to add another bed in the twin room upon request. There are 2 sofa beds in the lounge. The kitchen has cooker, hob, microwave, fridge & dishwasher & washing machine. There is a satellite TV (UK & French) and CD player and a cosy wood-burning stove.
The apartment - sleeping 4/6 (2 bathrooms) In summary: - 2 double beds plus 2 sofa beds The apartment can also be used as additional accommodation with either property with either one or 2 bedrooms (each with an ensuite). Within the apartment you will find:
