A beautifully restored 17th Century Country house and private pool

(Sleeps 11) - 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms

Situated in the sleepy hamlet of St.Pierre sur Dropt not far from Duras, this immaculate house is a perfect retreat for those wanting to get away from it all.  The Bastide towns of Monsegur, Eymet and Issigeac are within easy drive.

Au Bardèche offers all the home comforts whilst retaining a number of the original features. It has lovely views of the Chateau at Duras and of the rolling countryside with vine covered slopes.  Enjoy a glass of wine under one of the covered terraces or take a walk through the orchard.

If required, a cook and maid service may be available during your stay. Baby sitting upon request.

Outside:

There is a large area at the front of the house for parking and a large garden area.  The pool (10 x 5m) has Roman steps leading to the shallow end of the pool.  Sun beds and parasols are provided.  There is a spacious lawned area to the side of the pool.

At the back of the house there is a decked walled garden / patio area where you will find table tennis, 2 bikes, and darts.  There is also a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

 

The property benefits from central heating and 5 open fireplaces and is available for rental all year.

  

Bed linen and towels & pool towels are included in the price; additional linen is left at the house for stays of 2 or more weeks
