undulating vine filled fields of the Cotes de Duras you will find the
rustic farmhouse - Métairie du Pitourre.
Loubes Bernac
is the closest village (2km) to the house with a pretty church, post office,
café bar / pizza restaurant and village shop for bread and croissants. Loubes Bernac is 15km south of the appealing Bastide town of Ste. Foy la Grande on the Dordogne river and the market town
of Duras.
Both these towns have fascinating colourful weekly markets and a number
of lively bars and restaurants. The
towns date from medieval times when England and France were rivals for control
of the province. 13th Century Eymet in the Dordogne is 18km away and well
worth a visit.
For golf lovers, the Chateau de
Vigiers is a mere 6 minutes away. Horse riding is available within
5 mins.

pool is in a walled courtyard which can be made secure for children at
all times. There is also a fenced pond.

available for your use - perfect for sitting and watching the sun set!
