Manoir de Levignac Comprising 2 beautifully restored properties set in the grounds of a village manor house Wi-Fi available La Tour (sleeps 4 / 6) & Le Chai (sleeps 4). The pool at the Manoir de Levignac You will find this wonderful 17th century village manor house private and secluded yet conveniently located. There are 5 hectares of garden, fields and woods in which to unwind. From here you can enjoy the unspoiled countryside, explore some of the regions historic fortified towns and taste some of the wines from the local vineyards. The Manoir is open throughout the year and the properties can be rented separately or together. Special deals may be available out of the peak summer season. The property has been lovingly renovated to a very high standard and the gardens are an absolute delight. There are extensive views which stretch over the countryside. Near by Duras, with it's medieval Chateau provides a number of restaurants, shopping facilities, banks, and a post office. It bursts into life on a Monday with it's market day stalls loaded with local produce. Eating out is cheap and you can expect to receive a 4 or 5 course meal for around £15. There are wonderful cycle routes and horse riding facilities near-by. The Accommodation - Le Chai (sleeps 4)
Le Chai, a charming single story stone cottage is set away from the main house. It has it's own private garden for the sole use of the guests at the rear of the cottage. It has an undercover eating and BBQ area. Inside there are tiled floors, beamed ceilings, stone walls and a log burning stove in the sitting area. The bedrooms are spacious and the furniture is a good mix of antique and modern.
Accommodation - La Tour (sleeps 4 / 6) La Tour is a spacious apartment at the south end of the main house with its own entrance.
La Tour - kitchen and TV room It comprises the Manoir's original kitchen (fully equipped) with it's own separate entrance, 2 double en-suite rooms (twin beds), a sunroom leading onto the pool and a separate TV room which can be made into another bedroom upon request. Central heating in the winter.
The pool is 5 x 10 M (1.5m deep) and is secured by a security cover. Table tennis, badminton and boules are available for your use. The owners live on site, they respect the privacy of their guests yet will be at hand to help you should you have any questions or require any assistance during your stay.
Upon request, La Tour's TV room can be converted to an additional bedroom - sleeping an extra 1 or 2 people at a charge of £70 per single bed per week. Bed linen & towels (not pool towels) are included Weekly cleaning included. Laundry per load £5.00 Rates may alter depending upon occupancy - please contact us for details.
