Whilst in Miramont, visit the local lake (Lac Saut du Loup http://www.campingsautduloup.com/gb1.html ) and the public lido - swimming pool.  There are also a number of large supermarkets.

Within a short drive you have Bergerac a - 30 minute drive away and Monbazillac about 20 minutes. In just 10 minutes drive you can reach Eymet, a slightly more 'touristy'  town with a 13th century 'bastide' - with it's own weekly markets, restaurants and bars.  During the summer months look out for the events which take place in the village squares.  Look out for the 'Arts de la Rue' - it's Miramont's answer to the Edinburgh festival and takes place early August.
